First and foremost, thank you for considering Moments by Dane. I am so incredibly grateful that you’re here.

My name is Dane Robertson and I’m a qualified Celebrant living in Melbourne, Victoria. Yep, that’s me, double parked with two espresso martinis.

My Celebrant journey began in 2020. My friends were all coupled up and enjoying some of life’s biggest moments; homes, babies and weddings. I was delighted to watch my friends achieve these milestones but after being single for several years, I couldn’t help but wonder, perhaps love wasn’t in my destiny.

I was comfortable with this notion but after growing up watching Disney fairytales and Hollywood romcoms, I still wanted to be a part of the magic. So, I decided to help other peoples’ dreams come true by becoming a Celebrant.

This ambition was delayed when I became busy falling in love. I’m so grateful I found the love of my life because now I can relate to the couples I’m marrying and speak from experience.

With a full heart, I started studying and quickly began to appreciate the need for rituals during all of life’s biggest moments; not just weddings but vow renewals, graduations, funerals and more. Rituals encourage us to recognise all that is life and for me, those are moments worth celebrating.
